Anthropic Expands Claude Startups Program With API Credits and Free Team Access
Approved startups get $1,000 in API credits and a free year of Claude Team with up to five Premium seats, part of a package worth up to $7,000.
Anthropic confirmed it is expanding its Claude Startups program to cover more types of startups. Startups founded within the past five years, or funded within the past two years, are eligible to apply.
Approved startups receive $1,000 in API credits, made available on approval and expiring after six months. Startups new to Claude Teams also receive a free year of Claude Team with up to five Premium seats. According to Anthropic, the combined value of Claude products and credits comes to up to $7,000 per startup.
Beyond the core package, participants can receive up to $45,000 in partner offers and up to $100,000 in additional API credits through their venture capital firm.
Members also get access to office hours with Anthropic's Applied AI team, marketplace access, and invitations to hackathons and meet-ups.
Anthropic said many fast-growing AI-native companies have already joined the Claude Startups program.
