Apple said on November 6, 2026 that more than 100,000 apps built for the foldable iPhone Duo are now live on the App Store, according to gsmarena.com. The company says thousands of optimized titles are being added each day.
Optimized apps display a Made for iPhone Duo badge on their App Store product pages when viewed on the device. Titles listed as optimized include the camera app Halide Mark III.
Apple has held more than 50 in-person developer sessions in 19 cities over the past month, with over 2,000 developers attending in total, according to the company.
The new APIs cover custom layouts and hinge poses, while apps built with standard SwiftUI and UIKit components can adapt automatically to each display. Older builds still run on the iPhone Duo but do not always fill the inner display the way fully optimized apps do.
Google Maps has only just been optimized for the iPhone Duo, Apple said.

Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, Susan Prescott, was named by the company in connection with the developer program. The iPhone Duo began shipping about two weeks before November 6, 2026.
