Apple Adds iCloud+ Perks: 4K HomeKit, 10 Emails, TV Bundle

Apple has expanded the benefits available to iCloud+ subscribers, adding HomeKit Secure Video upgrades, more personalized email addresses, bundled Apple TV and Apple Arcade in more than 100 countries outside the US, and higher AI usage limits in iOS 27, all at no additional cost, according to 9to5mac.com.

HomeKit Secure Video now supports 4K resolution in iOS 27, along with generated video descriptions, clip searching and noteworthy clips, Apple said. The company also increased the number of personalized email addresses subscribers can create per domain from three to 10.

Subscribers in more than 100 countries outside the US now receive Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no extra charge. Apple said select iCloud+ plans will include higher usage limits for AI features in iOS 27, including Siri AI, Photos editing tools and Image Playground.

The improvements were introduced alongside iOS 27 with no price change for subscribers. iCloud+ is best known for adding iCloud storage, but it also includes Hide My Email, iCloud Private Relay and full Apple Invites access.

What subscribers get

Apple unveiled iOS 27, which introduces the AI features that carry the higher usage limits for select iCloud+ plans. The company framed the changes as additions to existing subscriptions rather than a new tier.
