Apple has officially confirmed it will hold a special event on October 13, 2026, with the tagline 'Welcome home'. The company shared the announcement after Greg Joswiak posted a teaser video for the event on October 8, 2026, according to GSM Arena.
The event is expected to feature new smart home products supporting new Siri AI, though Apple has not named specific devices in its confirmation. Products such as the HomePod mini 2, Apple TV 4K, HomePad, and Home Hub have been associated with the announcement in prior reports, but none have been officially confirmed by Apple.
In late September 2026, a rumor claimed Apple would hold a special event on October 13 to unveil new smart home products. The official confirmation from Apple now aligns with that earlier report.
The original HomePod mini was released in 2020, and the latest Apple TV 4K box arrived in 2022. The October 13 event may introduce updated versions of these products, but Apple has not provided further details.
