Armadin, founded by Mandiant's Kevin Mandia, has raised $255.5 million in a Series B round led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, valuing the company at over $2.5 billion.
Armadin, the cybersecurity startup founded by Mandiant's Kevin Mandia, announced on Thursday it has raised $255.5 million in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, and values the company at more than $2.5 billion.
Several prominent investors joined the round, including Bain Capital Ventures, Redpoint, 8VC, Ballistic Ventures, Google Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Kleiner Perkins, and Menlo Ventures. With this latest raise, Armadin has now raised more than $445 million in total.
The funding comes as Armadin continues to build out its cybersecurity platform. In March, the company raised a $190 million Series A round, and it has quickly attracted backing from a wide range of venture firms.
Mandia is best known as the founder of Mandiant, which was acquired by Google for $5.4 billion in 2022. His new venture, Armadin, appears to be drawing on that pedigree as it seeks to address evolving security threats.
TechCrunch reported the funding news earlier today.
