Audiophile.fm launches free lossless radio app for iPhone and Android

The app streams FLAC internet radio at CD quality or higher, needs no account and carries no in-app ads, though AirPlay and Cast are missing.

Audiophile.fm has released a free app for iPhone and Android that streams lossless internet radio stations, adding a mobile option to the service's existing web version. The launch, reported by techradar.com, is dated October 19, 2026.

The app streams internet radio in FLAC at CD quality or higher. It carries no subscription, no account requirement and no in-app ads, according to the service.

The iOS version requires iOS 26 or later. The iPhone edition can also be installed from the Mac App Store and runs on macOS 27.

Not every station is ad-free: some of the radio stations played through the app air their own commercials. Features including equalization, Google Cast and AirPlay are not yet available.

Audiophile.fm was already accessible in a web browser before the app launch. Its creator, Bojan Vidanovic, said on r/BudgetAudiophile that he wanted an easier way to find and listen to lossless radio stations.
