BarunCompany announced on October 10, 2026 that personal information from mobile wedding invitations produced between 2016 and 2021 by Barunson Card, Barunson Mall, Premier Paper, The Card and Behands Card was leaked in a hack.
The leaked wedding invitation data includes names, mobile phone numbers, emails, wedding date and venue, order numbers and information about the bride and groom's parents. Information from first birthday party invitations was also exposed, including babies' names and birth dates.
The company said it learned of the hack on October 7, 2026. The database was hacked in November and December 2025, and invitations were manipulated, according to the company's disclosure.
BarunCompany said it reported the incident to the relevant authorities and plans to check security vulnerabilities, delete injected strings and invalidate invitation authentication codes.
