Bluesky update adds beta iPad app and profile links
Users can report iPad bugs through the Beta Features section of Settings, and add external links via the Edit Profile menu.
Bluesky released an update on October 22, 2026 that adds beta testing support for iPads, according to Engadget. The update also lets users place links to external platforms at the top of their profiles.
Users who try the iPad version can report bugs through the Beta Features section of the Settings menu, the company said.
The new profile links are added through a Links section in the Edit Profile menu. Bluesky said the feature is intended to help creators connect to crowdfunding platforms such as Patreon or Ko-fi, or to their own website or newsletter.
Both changes arrive in the same release, giving iPad owners an early build of the app to test while other users gain a dedicated slot for off-platform links.
