Bose president hints at future gaming headset, says 'stay tuned'
Raza Haider told TechRadar any new Bose gaming headset would need to be authentic to gamers and clear a performance bar the current hardware misses.
Bose president Raza Haider said the company is keeping an eye on the gaming community and told fans to "absolutely stay tuned" about possible future Bose gaming headset hardware, in an interview with TechRadar.
Haider said any new Bose gaming headset would need to be authentic to the gaming community and meet a certain performance bar. He added that Bose's current hardware isn't quite at the bar needed.
Bose's last gaming product was the QC35 II gaming headset, released in 2021. According to Haider, that headset didn't resonate because it wasn't truly authentic.
TechRadar Gaming rated the QC35 II four stars, praising its noise cancellation, balanced sound and comfort, but noting it lacked gaming features such as an instant mute button or auto play/pause.
