Decodo research has found that ChatGPT and Perplexity have entered the top five most-scraped websites for the first time, according to techradar.com. ChatGPT ranked third and accounted for 14% of scraping activity observed by the analysis, while Perplexity ranked fifth with 10%.
TikTok saw the most scrapes at nearly one in five (18%). Seven of the top 10 most-scraped sites are new entrants to the list.
Decodo predicts that Gemini and Copilot could enter next year's top 10, and that AI agents could initiate scrapes themselves.
