CheckMAL lists AppCheck Pro anti-ransomware on AWS Marketplace

The Korean security firm's AppCheck Pro and AppCheck Pro for Windows Server are now sold through AWS Marketplace after passing the AWS Foundational Technical Review.

CheckMAL said on 21 October 2026 that its anti-ransomware products AppCheck Pro and AppCheck Pro for Windows Server have been officially listed on AWS Marketplace, according to dailysecu.com.

The listing gives CheckMAL a global cloud distribution channel alongside its existing partner-based network. Companies running workloads on Amazon Web Services can now purchase and manage the AppCheck products through the marketplace, and existing customers can repurchase there.

Before the listing, CheckMAL passed the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR) and obtained the Qualified Software badge.

AppCheck Pro uses CheckMAL's patented Context-Aware Ransomware Behavior (CARB) detection engine. The company describes it as a signatureless approach that detects and blocks new and variant ransomware in real time, and the product also includes integrated data backup and automatic recovery.
