CJ OliveNetworks announced on October 15 that CJ One, its lifestyle membership service, is launching CJ One Global, a membership aimed at foreign visitors to Korea. According to techm.kr, visitors can join the service using only email verification.
Member verification and access control for the new service use the global standard authentication technologies OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.1. After signing up, members receive a mobile barcode through the CJ One app to earn and use points at partner stores nationwide.
Global members receive exclusive benefits at partners including N Seoul Tower, Shinsegae Duty Free, Tous Les Jours, Mega MGC Coffee, CU, Emart24 and Incheon Airport Gourmet Bridge, with exclusive coupons offered at some channels.
