The science and education ministries say Season 2 adds 10 new programs and a certificate ranking event, with 15 organizations taking part.

South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and Ministry of Education announced on October 14, 2026 that '2026 ClickOn AI Season 2' will run for six weeks, from October 15 to November 25, 2026, according to Digital Today.

Season 2 will operate a total of 44 programs, adding 10 new programs compared with Season 1. Fifteen organizations in total are taking part, including EBS and the Naver Connect Foundation.

The new programs diversify difficulty levels based on feedback from Season 1 participants, with a focus on the AI utilization experience and AI data utilization categories. A new 'Certificate Ranking Event' will be added alongside the existing certificate and survey events.

ClickOn AI expanded and reorganized the 'Online Coding Party' that began in 2015 into an AI-centered program, and was first introduced this year. About 1.7 million people participated in the preceding Season 1.

In Season 1, the AI coding category accounted for about 48% of all participation among the four categories: AI utilization experience, AI service utilization, AI coding and AI data utilization. The most popular programs in Season 1 were 'Coding Makes Even Animals Dance', 'Career Experience with Azitins AI' and 'Run! Pengsoo', in that order.
