Coupang has launched Cugase, its large-scale home appliance and digital discount event, with about 300 domestic and international brands taking part, according to inews24.com. The lineup includes Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics and Apple.
Coupang has reorganized its first-come-first-served special price corner into a "2 PM open run," selling limited quantities of refrigerators, washing machines, TVs, laptops and robot vacuums daily at 2 PM. The number of special price products totals about 400, roughly 1.5 times more than the first-half event.
Nintendo Switch 2, which was popular in the first-half event, is being offered again as a limited-quantity special price product. Roborock, Dreame and Ecovacs are participating in the robot vacuum category.
Kitchen appliance brands such as Philips, SharkNinja and Vitamix are holding discount sales ahead of kimchi-making season. Some winter seasonal appliances such as electric heaters and humidifiers are offered at 10,000 to 20,000 won.
Coupang is also running a "Today's Brand" corner featuring Dyson, DJI, TCL, Midea, Hisense and Cuchen, with brand wish coupons and special price products. Coupang Live broadcasts will hold events including additional product giveaways and gift certificate payments.
