Coway Opens 11th Directly Operated Store in Ulsan

Coway opened a new Coway Gallery directly operated store at the Hyundai Department Store Ulsan branch, according to techm.kr. It is the company's 11th official directly operated store this year and its first department store location in Ulsan.

The Ulsan store follows two other recent openings: a directly operated Coway Gallery at the Lotte Department Store Nowon branch in Seoul, and a first store at the Lotte Department Store Ansan branch that includes a private experience zone.

Visitors can book experience time in advance through Coway's official website, Coway.com. The stores offer about 20 minutes with the smart mattress and about 30 minutes with the new Pebble Chair 2 and the Birex Triple Chair 2 Slim, which is reduced in volume by 9%.

Expansion Beyond Ulsan

In the first half of this year, Coway opened 10 new directly operated stores in key cities nationwide, including the Hyundai Mokdong and Jungdong branches, the Lotte Incheon, Changwon and Dongnae branches, Pohang and Suncheon. That brought the total number of Coway Gallery stores to 42.

Coway also recently ran a 'Sleep Wellness Fair' Birex pop-up store at the Lotte Department Store Pyeongchon branch. Bang Jun-hyuk, who acquired Coway, has repeatedly emphasized that customers should directly experience physical appliances and sleep tech products.
