Delta 2.0 adds iPhone Duo support and EU App Store debut

Delta, the emulator app for iPhone and iPad, has been updated to version 2.0. The release adds optimization for Apple's iPhone Duo foldable, support for Sega Genesis games, a Pokémon DLC feature, a redesigned interface built around Apple's Liquid Glass design language, and the app's first release on the EU App Store.

According to The Verge, the iPhone Duo optimization includes controller skins for portrait and landscape poses, as well as a sleep mode that activates when the device is folded. Sega Genesis support arrives with new iPhone and iPad controller skins modeled on the classic Genesis controller.

Delta 2.0 also introduces a DLC feature that adds custom in-game experiences for classic Pokémon games, such as event items and rare Pokémon, covering mainline Game Boy Advance Pokémon titles. The update adds experimental support for Epilogue's GB/SN Operator gadgets, which let users play Nintendo cartridges on iPhone or iPad.

Other additions include an experimental Custom Filters feature with a CRT-style filter and user-imported filters, animated controller skins with support for third-party designs, new recents and favorites pages, and new settings. The app also adds global in-app purchases via a new Become a Patron option.

Delta 2.0 is available now on the App Store, including for the first time in the EU.
