EIZO unveils first QD-OLED ColorEdge monitor, ships December 1

The 31.5-inch ColorEdge CG3200X offers 4K UHD resolution, 1000 cd/m² peak brightness and a built-in calibration sensor, priced at 495,000 yen on EIZO Direct.

EIZO has announced the ColorEdge CG3200X, a 31.5-inch color management OLED monitor that goes on sale December 1, according to ascii.jp. It is the company's first ColorEdge model to use a QD-OLED panel.

The display supports 4K UHD (3840x2160) with a peak brightness of 1000 cd/m², 300 cd/m² at full-screen white and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio. It handles both HLG and PQ HDR gamma and uses a non-glare, low-reflection AGLR panel.

EIZO developed its own ABL (automatic brightness limiter) control that suppresses sudden brightness drops, offered in Highlight and All Gradations modes. Other features include a built-in calibration sensor, 60W USB Type-C power delivery with video transmission, Sync Signal color mode switching, DisplayPort, USB Type-C and HDMI inputs, and a bundled hood.

The monitor comes with a 5-year warranty and a 6-month zero-bright-dot guarantee. The EIZO Direct price is 495,000 yen, and the price is otherwise open.

EIZO says the CG3200X will be shown for the first time in Japan at its booth at Inter BEE 2026, which runs November 18-20.
