Flai announced it has raised a $27 million Series A funding round led by Base10 Partners. The round also included funding from Friedkin Group, Findlay Automotive, Toyota's venture arm, Y Combinator, and First Round Capital.

The company's AI software is booking 50,000 appointments per month. Flai says it is working with more than 10 of the top 50 dealer groups in the country.

The company has around 40 employees, and its software can be live in a dealership 10 days after a contract is signed. Half of Flai's revenue comes from new customers, according to TechCrunch.

Last year, Flai was a team of three people raising a seed round. The company has since expanded to its current headcount of roughly 40.
