Fujifilm Unveils Instax Square 2 Instant Camera and Soft Haze Film
Fujifilm announced the Instax Square 2 instant camera and a new Soft Haze film, both arriving in late October priced at $120 and $19.
Fujifilm announced the Instax Square 2, a square-format instant camera, along with a new square film called Soft Haze. According to gizmodo.com, both products will be available in late October, priced at $120 for the camera and $19 for the film.
The Instax Square 2 has a switch on its body that swaps two filters in front of the lens: warm and cool. It also includes a built-in selfie mirror, automatic exposure and an automatic flash.
Three shooting modes are selectable via a ring around the lens: close-up, landscape and standard. The camera is available in three colors: slate blue, misty white and brick red.
The Instax Square 2 prints on Instax square instant film and runs on AA batteries rather than CR2 batteries.
Fujifilm's earlier square-format Instax camera, the Square SQ1, is similar in functionality and appearance to the Square 2.
