Galaxy S25 FE Gets Quick Share to AirDrop Transfer in One UI 9.0

Samsung's stable One UI 9.0 update brings Quick Share to AirDrop file sharing to the Galaxy S25 FE, according to Android Authority.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE owners can now use Quick Share to send files to Apple devices through AirDrop, Android Authority reports. The change arrived on October 6, 2026 as part of the stable One UI 9.0 update for the phone.

The integration means files can move between the Galaxy S25 FE and Apple hardware without a separate app, with Quick Share handling the transfer on the Samsung side and AirDrop receiving it on the Apple side.

Samsung has not published a separate release date for the feature beyond the One UI 9.0 rollout.

How it reached other devices

Nearly a year before October 2026, Google made AirDrop compatible with Quick Share. Since then, the integration has arrived on devices including the Pixel 10 series, the Galaxy S26 family and the OPPO Find X9 range.
