Galaxy S27 case leak hints at wider camera bar for Pro and Ultra
Case images posted by leaker IceUniverse suggest the Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra get full-width camera cutouts, while the S27 and S27+ keep the vertical design.
Case images for all four Galaxy S27 models have been posted online by the leaker IceUniverse, offering an early look at how Samsung's next flagship lineup may differ by model. The cases cover the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.
According to the images, the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra have large rectangular camera cutouts that span nearly the full width of each device. The Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ keep the vertical camera cutout used on their predecessors.
The leak points to a 200MP main camera on both the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, said to use Samsung's ISOCELL HP6 sensor, paired with 50MP ultrawide lenses. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is reportedly set to carry the same 50MP 5x telephoto module as the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the Galaxy S27 Pro may get a 12MP 3x telephoto camera.
Earlier rumors suggested Samsung would introduce a new design for the Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra while keeping the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ as the more affordable entries in the range.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S27 series in the first quarter of 2027, between mid-January and late February.
