Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro batteries surface in Korean certification
Certification images show battery packs labeled EB-BS958DBY and EB-BS957CBY, reportedly tied to Samsung's next flagship models.
Battery images for the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra and Galaxy S27 Pro have appeared in a South Korean safety certification, according to androidpolice.com. The filing was published on October 23, 2026.
The images show two battery packs labeled EB-BS958DBY and EB-BS957CBY. Those labels are believed to match the model numbers SM-S958 for the Galaxy S27 Ultra and SM-S957 for the Galaxy S27 Pro.
Trademarks on the components and the printed text indicate both packs are made by Zhuhai CosMX Power. The certification images are low resolution, so the actual capacities cannot be read from them.
The filing also shows both phones certified for 60W wired charging, the same rating as the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Earlier capacity hints
In September, a China 3C certification hinted that the Galaxy S27 Ultra carries a 5,534 mAh rated cell and the S27 Pro a 5,087 mAh cell. An earlier rumor said Samsung was testing a 7,000 mAh battery for the Ultra. Samsung has kept 5,000 mAh batteries on its premium Galaxy devices for years, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the Galaxy S26 has a 4,300 mAh capacity.
The Galaxy S26 series debuted in February this year. Leaker yeux1122 said on Naver that the next Unpacked could be held in early January 2027.
