Galaxy S27 Ultra Screen Protectors Leak, Show Minimal Design Change
Ice Universe shared images of Galaxy S27 Ultra screen protectors that appear nearly identical to those of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, suggesting minimal front design change.
Images of screen protectors for the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra have surfaced online, shared by tipster Ice Universe. The protectors are nearly identical to those for the Galaxy S26 Ultra and may even be interchangeable, indicating that the front display design of the upcoming flagship will be essentially unchanged from its predecessor.
Ice Universe noted that this could be the smallest front display design change between two consecutive Ultra flagships in Samsung's history. The leak suggests that Samsung is not planning a major visual overhaul for the S27 Ultra's front panel.
In October 2025, reports indicated that the Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro would feature a next-generation M16 OLED display, which debuted with the iQOO 16 and offers 10,000 nits peak local brightness and 2,800 nits peak global brightness. In July, reports said the S27 Ultra and S27 Pro would get a new 16MP selfie camera, replacing the current 12MP module, a claim reiterated last month.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra and S25 Ultra both have a 6.9-inch 1,440 x 3,120px display, while the S24 Ultra had a 6.8-inch screen. The S27 Ultra is expected to be nearly the same size as the S26 Ultra, with a bigger battery due to improved energy density and a slight weight increase from 214g to 215g.
The screen protector leak was first reported by GSM Arena.
