Garmin announced the Enduro 4 and the Approach S72, two new smartwatches that go on sale in the United States on October 9, according to Android Authority. The Enduro 4 starts at $899.99, while the Approach S72 starts at $799.99.

The Enduro 4 is rated for up to 320 hours of activity tracking with solar charging, or up to 90 days in smartwatch mode. It also carries 50 percent more RAM than its predecessor and doubles storage to 64GB. Garmin lists the watch at 66g.

The Approach S72 comes in 43mm and 47mm sizes with AMOLED displays and titanium bezels. It is Garmin's first golf smartwatch to include a speaker and microphone, enabling phone calls and voice commands.

The Enduro 4's weight is a slight increase over the Enduro 3, which was released in 2024 at 63g and with 32GB of storage. The Enduro 3 also shipped with solar charging and multi-week battery life.

Two watches, two audiences

The Enduro 4 targets endurance athletes with its extended battery ratings and larger storage, while the Approach S72 is built for golfers and adds voice and call features for the first time in Garmin's golf line.
