Google AI Plus Loses Gemini Pro Access on November 13, 2026

Google is emailing AI Plus subscribers that Pro models in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search end for them on 13 November 2026.

Google has started emailing Google AI Plus subscribers to inform them that access to Pro models in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Google Search will end for their plan on 13 November 2026, according to 9to5google.com.

From that date, selecting Pro models in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Google Search will only be available to Google AI Pro subscribers and above. After 13 November 2026, Google AI Plus subscribers will retain access to the Flash-Lite and Flash models only.

Existing chats made with the Pro model can be continued with a different model, Google told subscribers.

The notification was sent by the Google One team. Google AI Plus costs $4.99/month, while the higher tier costs $19.99/month and includes Gemini 4 Argon.

Earlier in October 2026, Google announced a change to Gemini's subscription model right before its new Argon model went live. Google said Gemini 4 Argon would be included for AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers and that AI Plus members would lose access to AI Pro entirely. Google's free plan remains available and includes Flash-Lite.
