Google App May Get Card-Based Settings Page in Redesign
Evidence found in Google app version 17.64.13 points to a card-based settings layout that could surface Search personalization and SafeSearch options.
Google appears to be working on a redesigned settings page for the Google app. Evidence of the new interface was found in version 17.64.13 of the app, according to Android Authority.
The redesign may replace the current simple list layout with a card-based layout that groups settings into categories. Under that structure, options such as Search personalization, SafeSearch and Results about you could appear on the main settings screen instead of being buried in the Privacy & Safety section.
The new settings page UI has not rolled out yet, and Google has not announced any plans to release it.
Earlier Gemini app redesign
The finding follows a similar one from last month, when Google was spotted working on a redesigned settings page in the Gemini app.
