Google Health 5.09 Brings Health Guardian to Pixel Watch
Google Health 5.09 adds Health Guardian support for Pixel Watch 3, 4, and 5, with blood pressure, insulin resistance, and sleep breathing metrics.
Google Health 5.09 is rolling out for Android and iOS, bringing support for Health Guardian features to the Pixel Watch. The update is available to Pixel Watch 3, 4, and 5 users, according to 9to5google.com.
With the new version, users can set up blood pressure trends, insulin resistance trends, and sleep breathing quality metrics. The first monthly Health Guardian summary will appear at the beginning of October.
To generate blood pressure trends, users need to wear the watch for five or more consecutive days in September. Insulin resistance trends require seven or more days and nights of wear during the same month.
The update also lets workouts tracked in other apps and devices count toward Cardio Load if heart rate data was recorded. Google has improved custom food creation and activity logging, and fixed a bug that caused deleted items to appear in the custom food list. Missing historical step streaks are also being restored.
