Google brings Pixel Watch 5 faces to Pixel Watch 4
The update arrives through the Google Pixel Watch Faces app and adds Weave, Chronograph, Multicolor Modular and Multicolor Reveal.
Google has begun rolling out the watch faces introduced with the Pixel Watch 5 to the Pixel Watch 4 through the Google Pixel Watch Faces app, according to Android Authority.
The update unlocks four faces: Weave, Chronograph, Multicolor Modular and Multicolor Reveal. It also brings the Stephen Curry face, along with what is reportedly an AI watch face generator.
The rollout is gradual, so some Pixel Watch 4 owners may still have to wait before the faces appear. At least one owner has already received it: a Reddit user reported getting the update through the Play Store on a Pixel Watch 4 LTE.
The update carries version number 4.2.12.989940186.
Google has previously followed a similar pattern of giving new Pixel hardware a brief period of exclusivity before features reach older devices.
