Google has published its September 2026 Google System Release Notes, detailing changes rolling out across Play services, the Play Store and Play system updates. The Google System spans Android phones and tablets, Wear OS, Google and Android TV, Auto and PC.
Google Play services v26.38, dated September 28, adds the ability to sign in to a Google Account during Gemini setup in a vehicle. An earlier release, v26.37 from September 21, introduces a Motion assist feature intended to help mitigate motion sickness.
