Google Teases Fitbit Edge Wearable, News Coming Monday
Google has shared early teaser imagery of the Fitbit Edge and says more details about the new Fitbit product will arrive on Monday.
Google has officially shared early teaser imagery of the Fitbit Edge and teased that news about a new Fitbit product is coming on Monday, according to Android Authority.
The teaser stops short of confirming specs, pricing or a release date for the Fitbit Edge. Google's post only offers a first look at the device and points to a Monday announcement.
Earlier this year, Google released the Fitbit Air, a screenless tracker, expanding the Fitbit lineup it has continued to update since acquiring the brand.
Leaks ahead of the teaser had already pointed to the Fitbit Edge's color options, connectivity and battery life, though Google has not confirmed those details.
What we still don't know
Launch timing, full specifications and pricing for the Fitbit Edge remain unannounced. Google's Monday update is expected to fill in some of those gaps.
