Hyundai Launches 2027 Sonata The Edge With New Black N Line Trim
Hyundai has begun sales of the 2027 Sonata The Edge facelift and added a design-focused Black N Line trim, while MINI Korea introduced its new JCW Pack.
Hyundai has launched the 2027 Sonata The Edge facelift model and begun sales, according to it.donga.com. The updated lineup adds a new design-focused Black N Line trim.
The Black N Line is offered with three powertrains: 2.0 gasoline, 1.6 turbo and hybrid. Hyundai also added the Camel interior color option to the Exclusive trim.
Pricing for the Smartstream 2.0 gasoline variants starts at 28.76 million won for the Premium trim, 30.28 million won for S, 33.21 million won for Exclusive, 36.15 million won for Inspiration and 36.75 million won for the Black N Line.
Hyundai will run a promotion in October giving N Diffuser Kits to 100 randomly selected customers who contract a Black N Line and take delivery in November.
Separately, MINI Korea launched the JCW Pack, a new standalone trim that adds John Cooper Works design and driving specifications. It features black high-gloss finishes on the front grille, bumper, skid plate, side skirts and wheel arches, along with JCW-specific black lightweight alloy wheels.
The JCW Pack interior includes a JCW-specific steering wheel and JCW sport seats in Vescin material. It comes standard with adaptive suspension using frequency-responsive dampers, JCW sport brakes and a 7-speed Steptronic sport double-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. MINI Korea plans to expand the JCW Pack to various MINI model lineups.
