OpenAI submitted applications for 15 top-level domains in total, including .chatgpt, .codex, .openai and .gpt. Meta applied for 21 domains, including .facebook, .instagram, .messenger, .meta, .frommeta and .threads.
Other companies also filed for brand or product domains. Anthropic applied for .anthropic and .claude, while Bluesky applied for .bsky. In addition, there are 345 brand applications, including .applebees, .bankofamerica, .zillow and .zoom.
