iOS 27.2 Beta 3 Adds Toggles for Siri AI Message Suggestions
Developer finds per-category controls that let users switch off Siri AI Suggested Actions in Messages, or auto-hide categories unused for 30 days.
Apple's iOS 27.2 beta 3 gives users a way to switch off Siri AI Suggested Actions in the Messages app, according to 9to5mac.com. A developer found the new controls in the current beta.
The toggles let users turn suggestions off by category, rather than disabling the feature as a whole. A second option lets Siri AI automatically hide categories that have gone unused for the last 30 days.
Suggested Actions were already part of the initial iOS 27 beta. Apple later pulled the feature after complaints that some suggestions were random.
The feature returned in the beta of iOS 27.2, and the beta 3 controls give users a finer level of control over what appears in Messages.
