Tipster: iQOO 16 Testing Begins in India, Price Could Near INR 100,000
An X tipster claims the iQOO 16 has entered testing in India and could be priced closer to INR 100,000, per gsmarena.com.
A tipster on X claims the iQOO 16 has started testing procedures in India, suggesting a possible launch in the country in the coming weeks. The same tipster claims the phone could be priced closer to INR 100,000 in India.
These are unverified claims, and iQOO has not confirmed an India launch or pricing for the iQOO 16.
The iQOO 16 became official in China earlier this week, starting at CNY 5,999. Its predecessor started at INR 72,999 in India one year ago, according to gsmarena.com.
If the testing claim holds, an India launch would follow the China debut. The price gap between the predecessor's INR 72,999 starting point and the rumoured INR 100,000 figure would mark a significant increase.
