KandaQuantum Releases Fuga 5000 AI Agent Orchestrator
The macOS-only developer tool can direct up to about 5,000 agents a day using existing Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Grok and Kimi subscriptions.
KandaQuantum officially released the developer edition of Fuga 5000, an AI agent orchestrator that can direct up to roughly 5,000 agents per day from a single Mac, on October 18, 2026, according to ascii.jp. The product is the official version of Fuga and is being offered to developers first.
Fuga 5000 connects to a user's existing Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Grok and Kimi subscriptions. In a measurement on October 16, 2026, on a single MacBook Pro (M4 Max, 128GB memory), the tool autonomously distributed 5,441 agents across 349 tasks.
The system runs on a five-layer swarm: intake, goal and project management, task lead, main agent and sub-agents. Task assignment selects the optimal model and agent count automatically, based on a ledger fed by current web benchmarks and a pie-chart vendor allocation set by the user. Work moves through planning, parallel implementation, integration, report creation, independent inspection and merging into the base branch, tracked on a Gantt chart.
A feature called Agent Battery displays each vendor subscription's remaining quota and automatically reassigns work to other vendors when one hits its limit. Fuga 5000 also detects dangerous agent actions and pauses them so a person can decide whether to continue or stop. The released version manages multiple goals at once with dedicated agents for each goal.
Pricing is the Fuga usage fee plus each vendor subscription, sold separately; a first-month offer of 150 dollars is listed. The product is macOS-only, and existing users already have access. KandaQuantum said sign-ups may be paused when capacity is reached.
Earlier versions
Fuga v1 was closed-released in August 2026 and ran a swarm of 1,285 agents stably in measurement. Fuga v2 - Ryusei followed in September 2026 as a limited release, directing more than 2,000 agents per day, about twice the previous month. In a September 2026 company measurement running all 89 Terminal-Bench 2.1 tasks with about 800 agents, work costing about 475 dollars at API metered rates fit within one day of flat-rate plans at about 47 dollars.
