The company's autonomous driving system, the Kodiak Driver, is already in commercial use. According to CNET, the system has been deployed in 35 fully driverless trucks owned and operated by Atlas Energy Solutions in the Permian Basin.
Kodiak's driverless technology is also being used in California to haul produce from Fresno to Los Angeles, though those runs are made with a safety driver present.
