Korea Deep Learning announced it has been selected as an 'AI Solution Company' in the M.AX (Manufacturing AX) specialized company program operated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KEIT. The company said it will expand its manufacturing document AI business on the back of the selection, according to datanet.co.kr.
The selection was based on DEEP Agent for Manufacturing, a manufacturing-specific document AI solution that converts unstructured documents into AI-usable data. The company was recognized for expertise in four areas: quality control and inspection automation, generative AI, manufacturing data processing and generation, and manufacturing tacit-knowledge data processing and generation.
DEEP Agent for Manufacturing uses vision-language model (VLM) based document understanding to extract and structure information from drawings, BOMs, process manuals and cost calculation sheets, and links the results to MES and ERP systems.
The company also recently launched DEEP Ops, a document AI operations platform that extends support to the post-construction operating stage of document data.
