Marketing images of an unannounced Amazon Kindle have surfaced, showing a redesigned e-reader in a handful of pastel colors. Leaker Roland Quandt shared the images in a WinFuture write-up.
The leak points to two different versions of the device. One appears in black, green, and light blue, while the other shows up in darker blue and lavender. The two versions differ slightly in how flush the display sits with the housing.
The design marks a shift from the current model. The new Kindle has flatter edges, rounded display corners, and a power button on the right-hand edge. Notably, there is no Amazon smile logo on the front.
