Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe 14Q8X12 Goes on Sale Early at $799.99

Lenovo has put its Snapdragon-powered IdeaPad Vibe 14Q8X12 on sale through its web stores in the US, UK, Canada, the Eurozone, Malaysia and Singapore, roughly a month before the November 2026 window the company gave at IFA in September. The early availability was reported by techradar.com.

US pricing starts at $799.99 for a configuration with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. In the UK the laptop is priced at £780 and comes with 512GB of storage by default, as it does outside North America. Canadian pricing is CAD 1,099, Eurozone pricing runs from €849 to €999 depending on the country, and Malaysia and Singapore are listed at MYR 4,939 and SGD 1,379 respectively. Pre-orders are due to start shipping on October 28.

The Snapdragon model carries soldered memory with no SO-DIMM slots. Its screen is rated at 400 nits and 45% NTSC. Ports include two USB-C, two USB-A, HDMI, a microSD reader and a headphone jack, and Lenovo offers an optional backlit keyboard along with seven Pantone-developed color options.

More than announced

At IFA 2026 in Berlin in September, Lenovo announced the Vibe range at $699.99, a figure set against the MacBook Neo. Apple launched the MacBook Neo at $599 in March and raised the price to $699 on June 25 amid an AI-driven memory shortage. In August, when the Vibe leaked, TechRadar predicted it would land above Apple's machine.

The AMD-powered 14-inch Vibe arrived on schedule this month starting at $899 in the US with a Ryzen AI 7 445, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. HotHardware, which handled the Vibe at IFA, judged that it out-specs the Neo but feels less premium.
