LG launches PuriCare HydroTower Max humidifier and air purifier
The premium appliance sterilises water at 100°C, adds up to 850cc of humidity per hour and purifies rooms of about 66㎡, LG Electronics said.
LG Electronics launched the LG PuriCare HydroTower Max, a premium humidifier and air purifier, in Korea on 18 October 2026, according to ineews24.com.
The unit combines four-stage hygiene management — purification, sterilization, cleaning and drying — with a space-adaptive AI humidification function. Water passing through a purification filter is heated to 100°C for sterilization and then humidified by an ultrasonic method. The AI function analyzes indoor area and temperature to adjust the humidification amount automatically.
LG Electronics says the product can run as a humidifier and air purifier together, or as an air purifier alone in seasons when humidification is not needed. It offers up to 850cc of humidification per hour and a 4.5L stainless steel water tank, for up to 18 hours of continuous use in normal medium humidification mode. Air purification coverage is about 66㎡, and a dust sensor lets users check indoor air quality in real time.
For the room itself, the HydroTower Max provides three themed mood lights (campfire, aurora, ripples) and 12 general color lights. A 26dB low-noise mode with automatic light-off is available for sleep, and wheels at the bottom aid movement.
Subscription customers receive regular expert maintenance and a full disassembly and cleaning service in the third year of subscription, the company said.
