MDS Tech said on October 20 that it will supply an Nvidia Jetson-based AI platform package worth about 4 billion won for a Korean company's humanoid home robot project.
The package is a "Jetson Full Package" made up of Jetson modules and systems and sensors from Nvidia global ecosystem partners, according to aitimes.com. MDS Tech said it is the largest single-project order since it launched its AI business organization.
The company supported the project from the development stage, providing in-depth technical support for an AI computing platform based on Jetson Orin. It also took part in upgrading the development environment to the next-generation Jetson Thor.
Physical AI as a growth axis
Since early 2026, MDS Tech has set physical AI as a major growth axis for its next-generation AI business. In April 2026, it began industry-academia cooperation with Seoul National University to train specialists in physical AI and robotics, and equipment it provided is used in the university's "Creative Engineering Design" course.
