MOONDROP to launch Position wired gaming earphones on October 26
The MOONDROP GRAVITY model costs 5,940 yen in silver or black and includes a USB-C sound card with an AI noise-cancelling microphone.
MOONDROP will release the wired gaming earphone 'Position' on October 26, 2026, the company has announced. The model comes in silver and black and is priced at 5,940 yen.
Position is a new addition to MOONDROP GRAVITY, the company's pro-gaming series, and was developed with a product testing and analysis team made up of former pro players and experienced players. It uses an Al-Mg alloy dome composite diaphragm dynamic driver with HRTF-based tuning, and MOONDROP states non-linear distortion of under 0.05% across all bands.
The sound nozzle is a CNC-machined brass part fitted with an exchangeable acoustic filter unit. The included sound card carries a hardware AI noise-cancelling microphone processed by an NPU chip, and EQ settings can be adjusted through a browser web console or a smartphone app — the app is not compatible with iOS — with the settings stored in the sound card's DSP.
The package also includes a 24-bit high-resolution audio adapter, and the earphones support USB-C connection to PCs, smartphones and tablets. Specifications list 18Ω±15% impedance, 119dB/Vrms sensitivity and a 5Hz–38kHz frequency response, with a 0.78mm 2-pin connector that allows recabling. Av Watch reported the launch details.
