Motorola Pushes Android 17 to Razr Ultra (2026) and More US Devices
Motorola's newest Razr Ultra is getting Android 17, a 4.17GB download, though it still runs on the September 2026 security patch.
Motorola is expanding its Android 17 rollout to more devices in the US this week, including the Razr Ultra (2026). The update for Motorola's newest flip phone is a 4.17GB download carrying build number A171WLH.38-19-5.
Despite arriving as an Android 17 upgrade, the software is still based on the September 2026 security update. Motorola's condensed changelog points to a "fresh, expressive design" and "smarter notifications," according to 9to5google.com.
The Razr Fold has not yet received the update, and Motorola has given no indication of when that device might follow. The Edge 60 Fusion, Edge 60 Pro, and Motorola Signature have been updated over the past few days.
Earlier devices already updated
Motorola first detailed its Android 17 update in August 2026, but left specific timing unclear at the time. Edge 70 devices were updated a few weeks ago.
