Musco Korea Lights All 18 Holes at Serenity Gangchon CC
Musco Korea installed 498 TLC-LED-1200 fixtures and 98 new poles at Serenity Gangchon CC, adding the UpVisor aerial ball tracking system.
Musco Korea announced it has installed an LED lighting system across all 18 holes of Serenity Gangchon CC, a move that enables nighttime play at the course, according to datanet.co.kr.
The installation comprises 498 TLC-LED-1200 fixtures and 98 newly erected Musco Poles. Poles from the six holes that already had lighting were also reused in the project.
Illuminance was designed by zone: 250 lux on teeing grounds, 150 lux on fairways and 400 lux on greens. For aerial ball tracking, the UpVisor system was applied instead of the TLC-BT-575 ball-tracking fixture.
TLC-LED-550 fixtures were used on the practice putting green, while TLC-LED-1200 fixtures were also installed in the parking lot.
Prior projects
Serenity Gangchon CC previously operated only during the day, as lighting had been installed on only some holes. Musco Korea has supplied lighting systems to Daom Group's Serenity CC in Cheongju and Podo CC in Gimcheon, and the company says it holds about 360 design and construction references in Korea and abroad.
