Naver Cloud announced a partnership with Vietnam-based ICT company FPT to expand its AI infrastructure business into the APAC region, according to aitimes.com.
The two companies will cooperate to expand GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) operations and jointly pursue AI factory business centered on APAC. The collaboration combines GPU infrastructure, cloud technology and local customer networks, with FPT bringing its status as an Nvidia cloud partner.
Under the partnership, the companies will offer infrastructure, AI models and AI services to enterprises and AI service providers that need large-scale GPU computing for AI training and inference.
The two sides will also run a regular technical exchange program involving Naver Cloud's Vietnam development center, its headquarters technical staff and FPT engineers.
Joint work will include GPU infrastructure optimization at customer sites, AI inference performance improvement and building AI agent service environments.
