NC AI Unveils Four Physical AI Tools, Names Three Industry Partners

NC AI announced on October 23, 2026, that it has built a full-stack physical AI technology system covering 3D generation, digital twins, world models, robot foundation models and agent control, according to aitimes.com. The company also disclosed partnerships with Hyundai Rotem, Hanwha Ocean and POSCO DX, and said it was selected for core projects in both the North Jeolla and South Gyeongsang regional physical AI R&D programs.
The system is built around four products: VAETKI Twin, VAETKI World, VAETKI Brain and VAETKI Agent. VAETKI Twin recreates real spaces and equipment in a virtual environment for AI training and validation, while VAETKI World simulates changes and object interactions to generate large-scale synthetic training data.
VAETKI Brain is described as a general-purpose robot foundation model for humanoid, multi-legged and collaborative robots. VAETKI Agent plans and executes tasks autonomously from field data and links digital work to physical robot control.
NC AI and Hyundai Rotem were selected as final contractors for a national R&D project on an integrated physical AI simulator and modular robot system ordered by the Agency for Defense Development. Separately, NC AI is developing a welding-specific robot foundation model with Hanwha Ocean for autonomous welding in shipbuilding, and is working with POSCO DX on a general-purpose robot foundation model for humanoids using vision-language-action data.
The regional physical AI program, run by the Ministry of Science and ICT and NIPA, spans 2026 to 2030 with a total budget of 1.4131 trillion won. NC AI says it is involved in about 20 physical AI-related projects across various industries.
