Netgear has launched the PR30SG, a dual WAN security gateway that combines cloud-based security features with management through the company's Netgear Insight platform, according to datanet.co.kr.
Security coverage comes included: the PR30SG ships with one year of security service at no extra cost. The gateway provides web filtering to block malicious and restricted sites, along with intrusion detection for suspicious network activity. The same security features are also available as a license for the existing PR60X, allowing current PR60X users to add them without replacing their hardware. Netgear Exium provides a license that includes SASE cloud security features.
On the deployment side, the PR30SG supports zero-touch provisioning through Netgear Insight, downloading its configuration automatically from the cloud. It offers dual WAN failover and load balancing, and bundles support for the WireGuard, OpenVPN and IPSec VPN protocols. The unit uses a fanless design.
Support terms include 90 days of free 24-hour phone support and limited lifetime 24-hour online chat support. The gateway integrates with MSP tools including ConnectWise, NinjaRMM, Datto and Autotask.
