Nous Research said on October 7, 2026 that it raised a $90 million Series B at a $1.5 billion valuation. Robot Ventures led the round, with participation from Nvidia, Union Square Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Samsung and 1789 Capital, according to TechCrunch.

Total funding for the three-year-old startup now stands at $158 million. The company also announced Hermes for Businesses, an enterprise offering that lets companies deploy customized AI agents for multi-step workflows while keeping data private and secure.

Nous Research said its open-source Hermes agent has been cloned more than 24 million times and estimates the agent drives roughly 2.5% of global AI token usage.

Revenue targets

By mid-September 2026, Nous Research was at roughly $36 million in annualized revenue, according to The Wall Street Journal. The company expects to pass $100 million in annualized revenue before the end of 2026.
