Nvidia's Marketplace Drops RTX 5090 as Supply Rumors Swirl

The RTX 5080 is now the top card on Nvidia's own GPU marketplace, and Micro Center reportedly lists the RTX 5090 as not carried.

Nvidia's GPU marketplace no longer lists the GeForce RTX 5090, leaving the GeForce RTX 5080 as the highest-end card on the storefront. Wccftech spotted the change, according to techradar.com.

The removal is not an isolated signal. Micro Center reportedly lists the RTX 5090 as "not carried," and the card is said to be unavailable from major US retailers, with only inflated third-party listings still up.

Pricing on what remains in stock is already elevated. The RTX 5080 starts at around $1,800 on Newegg in the US and £1,450 on Overclockers in the UK, the lowest prices listed.

Nothing official from Nvidia

Nvidia has not issued a statement on the RTX 5090's status. A few days before the report, a leaker claimed the company was diverting all GB202 Blackwell chips to its AI-focused RTX Pro graphics cards.

Separately, rumors suggest Nvidia may release a 24GB RTX 5080 Super that could replace both the RTX 5090 and the 16GB RTX 5080. Neither the chip-allocation claim nor the Super rumor has been confirmed by Nvidia.
