At the event, OpenAI Korea CEO Kim Kyung-hoon said that as of October this year, Korea ranks third in the world in weekly active users of the AI agent dots and in the top five worldwide in ChatGPT Pro users.

OpenAI Asia-Pacific Technical Success lead Albert Ip gave a keynote on work automation and service development with dots, covering collaboration between people and AI agents in ChatGPT Spaces and connecting external tools and work data through the agent API. AWS presented ways to build and operate AI agents with OpenAI models and developer tools in existing cloud environments, while LG CNS presented ways to apply AI to real work, including connecting companies' existing systems with AI and establishing security and permission management.
The DevDay Exchange events introduce OpenAI's US-announced technologies to local developer communities and are being held in eight cities worldwide this year, including Seoul, according to DigitalToday.
